REUSE! Documentary Team Update

Well, it has been an extremely busy past six weeks. I launched my REUSE! documentary project on Kickstarter, promoted the heck out of it, got it successfully funded, and now I’m busy checking things off my numerous to-do lists before heading out across the country to film it. Whew! Well, in between breaths, I’d like to introduce two new players on the team.

Chuck Scott and Ali Morris

Chuck Scott will be joining me as my assistant for some of the early days of the tour in New England in late June. Chuck is a freelance videographer and currently lives in Keene, New Hampshire. He has been a longtime supporter of STAY VOCAL and my reuse mission. And when he heard about the project, he reached out to me and wanted to help in any way that he could.

If you can’t tell by Chuck’s photo, he LOVES hockey and yes, that chair he’s sitting in was made out of old hockey sticks; many of which were Chuck’s. He’s definitely got a rad step-dad.

Ali Morris will be joining me in early July as my full time assistant for the remainder of the tour. Ali hails from Kansas City, Missouri and has a background that ranges from photography to art to reusing whatever and wherever she can. I met Ali a few years back through our mutual friends in the band Bent Left, and this past May she was an integral part in helping to promote the funding for the project. And when I approached her about this awesome opportunity, she couldn’t have been more excited.

In addition to being a passionate reuser, Ali goes even further with her eco efforts by making her own shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and more. Learning more about all that she does, I truly think this is just the first project for Ali and I.

OK, I’ve got to get back to my lists…and some more coffee. Have a good one!

Flattr this!
