When I was checking out at the grocery store the other night, both the cashier and the bagger commented on the glass jars that I had brought for my bulk foods. They both agreed that it was a great way to save waste and money. What surprised me though, was that the bagger said that she had never seen anyone bring their own containers in before. I know I can go to reuse extremes, but I figured this one would be a lot more commonplace. Maybe some people don’t know that they can bring their own containers? It just got me wondering how many others do.
